Appointment

Well, I had a dentist appointment today. Routine checkup, all is good. It did get me thinking. If TSHTF and we don't have access to basic care, how would that affect us? Personally, I'm blind as a bat without my glasses. Without access to my glasses, say they break, I'm in a heap of trouble. Hunting, guard duty, even daily tasks, suddenly become difficult if not impossible. I guess I could get my eyes fixed now, but I'd have to convince my hubby it's in our best interest. Don't think I'll have much luck with that. I do keep my old pair of glasses as a backup, but I'm starting to think glasses may be something to hoard in the future. Something to think about at least.
